We are currently putting together a project to assist people in memorising the Qur’an. Each page of the Qur’an is in an individual PDF file. Below is an image of the last page. On the left you can see an indicator that this is a page that would appear on the left hand side of the book, (if you were reading it). This is useful if you are memorising the Qur’an.
In addition, if you click on the ayat (verse) number then you can listen to a recital of the ayah by Shaykh Ali Abdur-Rahman al-Hudhaify who is currently Chief of Imams at al-Masjid an-Nabawi (The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah) and a well-known reciter of the Qur’an.
The project is just at the beginning (we only have Juz ‘Amma in the Uthmaani script completed so far). Some possible uses for it include in schools or madrassahs or individuals wanting to improve their recitation and increase their memorisation. Each page is between 4Mb and 10Mb in size.
We are grateful to DeenCast.org where we got the scanned pages from. They have all the pages scanned for the Uthmaani and Indo-Pak script as well as a set resized for use on the iPhone or iPod Touch.
We pray you find it useful. If you have any suggestions/comments or if you find any errors please let us know by sending them to the address on the About page
Click on the links for the Juz for those pages that have been done so far.
